1. Data controller

The data controller is Matouš Mejtský, reg. no. 06552854, Palackého 2099, 269 01 Rakovník, contact e-mail mejtskym@centrum.cz. Processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What data we process

Résumé content entered in the editor (name, contact, experience, etc.) stays in your browser. It is sent to the server only at the moment of download, solely to generate the PDF, and is not stored — it is discarded as soon as the file is created.
Payment data — handled by the payment gateway; we do not store card numbers.
E-mail and transaction data — for payment confirmation (receipt) and customer support.
Technical data — essential cookies and basic server logs.

3. Purpose and legal basis

Performance of a contract (product delivery) — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Compliance with legal obligations (accounting, tax) — Art. 6(1)(c).
Legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention) — Art. 6(1)(f).

4. Browser storage

We do not permanently store your work-in-progress résumé. The only data in your browser is a temporary copy created right before payment (so your PDF can be delivered) and the 30-day access file you choose to save. Everything stays on your device and you can delete it any time by clearing your browser data.

5. Recipients and processors

Data may be shared with processors necessary for operation: the payment gateway Stripe and the hosting provider Render. These processors may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses). An appropriate data processing agreement is in place with each.

6. Retention period

We do not retain résumé content. Transaction and accounting data are retained for the period required by law (typically 5 years). Data held by our processors (Stripe, Render) is subject to their own retention periods.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the Office for Personal Data Protection, www.uoou.cz). To exercise your rights, contact us at mejtskym@centrum.cz.
